I'm soooo not into this posting everyday stuff! Have made some pretty wedding cards and am trying to sell some of my recycled jean purses and wind chimes. Will try to get pictures up after my niece's wedding.

Never did well with diaries or journals...
so am not surprised I don't keep up with this blogging stuff!
Back early from Texas this year.
Family emergency.
In process of cleaning up the art cellar so I can start some new projects.
"Art in My Garbage" is a favorite theme I deamed up. All that "stuff" in the trash-bin surely has another life as an "art supply" - Yesterday the discovery was date pits ;-D They scrub up well, have a nice rustic, "woody" look and make great beads when drilled with a fine dremel bit. Have also just discovered "sea beans", along with the lovely shells on the Texas beaches. The teeniest bit of baby oil shines them up nice. Avocados, apple seeds, prune pits, etc. can all be used as well. http://www.beachbeans.com/bean_descriptions.html
Inspiration
Hoping to share inspiration with thosewho visit. “Art is in the doing. It isn’t important how it turns out. The process is where the pleasure, the learning and the experience take place. A day without some sort of creative endeavor is a wasted day.” Myrna Wacknov
Call of the Wild was a page created for a Traveling Journal while a member on an altered book site. The book is gone, but at least I have photos of the art created. This is a combination of stamping, collage and freehand.
ok...cat lover here. Why is it that cats, stamps and computers just "go" together?! AmberJo is our rescued Texas kitty. They say a cat chooses you and she sure did. Here's the little dickens.
